My costume is nearly done!
 I love Fujiwara no Sai... Anyway, I still need to do the hat, add more velcro, sew on half of a button at the collar, tighten the belt, sew on two belt loops onto the outer haori to keep the outer belt in place...Oh, and I just realized that you can't really see much of my hakama in this picture. I swear that I'm wearing pants. Seriously. I am not pants-less in this photograph. I also know that I don't really look thrilled to be there, in this photograph... I swear, I'm really happy! Yep, the sleeves are long... Perhaps a little bit too long, but in all of the pictures that I looked up for reference, the sleeves seemed to fluctuate in length from waist-length to trailing along the floor, so...
My hair is pretty long, but the last 5cm or so are all split ends. D:

The sleeves actually weren't too hard... it was getting them attached that was the problem... D: The collar was the most difficult part, though. The sleeves are just voluminous. The collar had to look perfect. It's still not the best....

its still looks great! if it were me i would be worrying about tripping over the sleeves, but then im really clumsy!
