You know, I've decided that "amidst" is an awesome word... This photo was taken in the courtyard at the centre of things at the Japan Expo in Paris... otherwise known as the grassy place where everyone went to smoke. Still, it was an awesome place to catch cosplayers doing there thing. There's a little stagnant stream that's the background for the majority of the pretty shots taken out there, but unfortunately it was being used at the time of this shot. Still, it's not bad, wouldn't you say...?

I wish my hair wasn't so evidently wavey in this picture, but my hairstraightener is worrying me. It's only heating up on the handle, not the flat iron part, and I've heard too many stories from other North Americans about exploding/melting flat irons... so it's staying safely stowed away in my bad until I return home. I hope that it still lives... D:
